Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Best Family Lawyers Las Vegas, we are committed to transparency and fairness in all aspects of our legal services. Because legal services are professional services rather than physical products, refunds and cancellations are handled according to the nature of the work performed.

Legal Services & Refunds

Legal services are billed based on time, effort, and professional expertise. As such:

Fees paid for legal services already rendered are non-refundable
Once work has begun on a case, fees associated with completed or ongoing work cannot be refunded
Court filings, consultations, document preparation, and attorney time are considered billable services

Retainer Fees

Retainer fees are deposited into a client trust account and applied toward legal services as work is performed
Any unused portion of a retainer may be refundable, subject to applicable Nevada law and the terms outlined in your engagement agreement
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after a final account review

Consultations & Cancellations

Initial consultations may be offered at no cost or at a fixed fee, as disclosed at the time of booking
If a paid consultation is canceled in advance, eligibility for a refund will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without notice may result in forfeiture of the consultation fee

Client-Initiated Termination

Clients may choose to terminate legal representation at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination:

All outstanding fees for work performed up to the termination date remain payable
Any refundable balance, if applicable, will be determined after a final billing review
